Global Launch! 2880 kW Integrated Solar-Storage-Charging System Paired with 1056 kWh Ultra-Fast-Charging Pure Electric Mining Truck Officially Operational
Release time: 2025-12-30

In the golden autumn of October 2025, at a mining site in Ordos, China, liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging equipment stands neatly aligned, marking a pivotal moment for green transformation in this traditional energy city. On October 10, 2025, the world's first demonstration project of a 2880 kW integrated solar-storage-charging system paired with a 1056 kWh ultra-fast-charging pure electric mining truck, constructed by CENTER International Group Co., Ltd. (CENTER INT), officially commenced operations in Dalad Banner, Ordos City.

The launch ceremony was attended by government officials including Ms. Zhang Xiuling, Vice Mayor of Ordos Municipal People's Government; Mr. Chen Xi, Deputy Director of Ordos Energy Bureau; and Mr. Zhang Dongliang, Deputy Banner Chief of Dalad Banner People's Government. Enterprise representatives in attendance included Mr. Liu Aisen, Chairman of CENTER INT; Ms. Wen Lin, Chairwoman of Guoneng Huton; Mr. Zhi Kaiyin, Party Committee Secretary of Lingong Heavy Machinery; and Mr. Song Kai, Vice President of Huawei Digital Energy China Region.

Together, government and enterprise representatives pressed the activation device, signifying the official launch of this major new energy project. Through technological innovation and scale advantages, the project provides a systematic solution to address the high energy consumption and high emissions challenges faced by mining areas.

Global Mining Sector Addresses Triple Challenge with Integrated Energy Solution
The global mining industry has long faced a triple challenge of high energy costs, unstable power supply, and mounting carbon emission pressures. This project, developed by CENTER International Group Co., Ltd. (CENTER INT), tackles these issues through technological innovation and scaled deployment, offering a systematic solution.

Breakthrough in Ultra-Fast Charging Technology
At the core of the project is a 2880 kW liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging system, achieving a breakthrough performance of "charging 800 kWh in 18 minutes." This significantly reduces the energy replenishment time for mining trucks. Paired with a photovoltaic (PV) energy storage system, the project establishes a green power cycle of “PV power generation – energy storage regulation – rapid charging,” largely eliminating dependence on the external grid.

Dual-Base Scaled Deployment Strategy
The project adopts a differentiated layout approach, constructing a dual-base PV system with a total capacity of 270 MW. This includes the 150 MW Liantai Hantaichuan North Base and the 120 MW Lianfa Sidaoliu Base, which are designed to meet the daily energy replenishment needs of 700 and 600 electric heavy-duty trucks and mining trucks, respectively. This scaled layout addresses the industry pain points of “overcapacity at large stations and insufficient supply at small stations.” With an annual total power generation exceeding 350 million kWh, the project achieves an optimal allocation of solar-storage-charging resources.

The project delivers multifaceted value to regional development, yielding significant economic, ecological, and industrial spillover effects.

Notable Economic Benefits: Compared to traditional diesel mining trucks, electric mining trucks achieve over 50% savings in operational costs, substantially reducing overall expenses for mining operations.

Outstanding Ecological Impact: The project is projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 280,000 tons annually, equivalent to planting nearly 16 million mature trees. This emission reduction is of profound significance for Ordos' transition from a "coal hub" to an "energy oasis."

Industrial Catalytic Effect: The project will attract upstream and downstream enterprises in photovoltaics, energy storage, and new energy mining trucks to cluster in the region, fostering a green energy industrial ecosystem worth hundreds of billions of yuan. It provides a replicable model for Ordos to develop green electricity-powered industrial zones.

The successful commissioning of this project not only represents a successful model of government-enterprise collaboration but also marks a critical breakthrough in China's green transformation of the mining sector. The path forward is clear and actionable:

In the short term, the project will accelerate the shift from "single-point demonstration" to "large-scale deployment," driving Ordos' mining industry to take the lead in entering a new phase of zero-carbon intelligence.

In the medium to long term, leveraging China's global advantages in photovoltaics and energy storage, this solution is expected to be extended to resource-rich regions along the Belt and Road, contributing Chinese expertise and innovation to the global mining industry's transition toward zero carbon emissions.

Mining serves as the "ballast stone" of the global energy industry, and green transformation is an "imperative" for its development. The commissioning of today's demonstration project is only the beginning. Moving forward, CENTER International Group Co., Ltd. (CENTER INT) will continue to position itself as a "pioneer in integrated solar-storage-charging solutions," deepening collaboration with all partners to replicate the successful model and experience of this project across more mining areas and scenarios. We are committed to extending the benefits of integrated solar-storage-charging technology to mining enterprises worldwide, empowering the industry to achieve both "green transformation and efficient development."
